SKILLED NURSING

Skilled nurses (RN’s, LPN’s) operate complex medical procedures. Their services are highly procured by homebound patients who are suffering from acute chronic diseases and ailments. Their duties include:

  • Coordination with patient’s physician to assess patient health condition
  • Regular re-evaluation of the patient’s need
  • Use assessment results for diagnosis
  • Organize treatment plan for the patient
  • Counsel patient’s family on his/her condition and provide them with the right information on patient handling
  • Communicate to patient his/her progress in the program (patient education)
  • Initiate rehabilitative and preventive measures and nursing procedures as follows:
    • Medication Management
    • Catheter Care
    • Pre and Post Surgery Care
    • Wound Care
    • Ostomy Care
    • Chronic Disease Management
    • Pain Management
    • Insulin Therapy
    • Dressing Changes

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical therapists can aid patients in relieving pain from injury or illness, prevent the permanence of disability, and restore patient’s bodily functions, especially those who have undergone medical treatments.

Technically, their job includes:

  • Assessing client needs by reviewing his/her medical history
  • Propose necessary changes to a physician’s prescription should the need arise, with basis on his/her findings
  • Collaborate with patient’s health care staff to coordinate intervention
  • Perform treatment procedures including:

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Our occupational therapists work with patients to improve and regain their skills important for independent living. They are indispensable aids in the progress of a patient’s recovery plan.

Occupational therapists perform the following functions:

  • Assess and evaluate the patient’s physical function, musculoskeletal system, joint function and limitations, his home-school work environment factors, cognitive and psychological factors, all of which may affect his functioning in the community. They are also to assess patient need for assistive devices and their current abilities to perform ADLs.
  • Use these observations and data to draft the most fitting plan for his recovery
  • Home modification assessment
  • Adaptive equipment training
  • Re-education of Basic Living Skills
  • Energy Management and Conservation

SPEECH THERAPY

Professional Speech and Language pathologists are available to help individuals who are having difficulty with communication, speech and language.

Training on speech therapy includes:

HOME HEALTH AIDE

Our home aides are all qualified and have met the basic training and competencies necessary in performing the duties of the job. They are enthusiastic, sympathetic, and can directly follow specific orders with minimal supervision. They can provide you and your family with the following services:

  • Assist with personal care
  • Light housekeeping
  • Other nursing care as directed and under the supervision of RNs
